Transform
Creating the ideal outdoor space which is right for you and your family can be a daunting, time consuming and often an expensive task. In many instances there is no need to completely redesign a garden in order to achieve this - small changes in just the right places can make all the difference. If you are struggling with a particular area of the garden or need some ideas to transform a border, we would be delighted to help you.
Design
Designing a garden is a very personal undertaking and it's important the garden is right for you and your family. As a professional designer, I can work closely with you to create your entire garden, redesign an area or just a border. The process from surveying, concept sketches and mood boards through to full drawings and planting schemes. We can then undertake the implementation of the plan for you or work with you or your team to project manage the work if required.
Coaching/consultancy
For anyone who is keen to learn more about their garden and how to look after it we offer one-to-one horticultural coaching for an RHS trained professional. This can be a one-off consultancy session to help you understand the principles of composting for example, or to familarise yourself with what you have growing and how to look after it. Or more regular coaching sessions. It doesn't matter if you don’t know a plant from a weed, or if you are much more experience, we can work with you throughout the year until you feel confident to tackle your space on your own. This could be the perfect present for a friend of family member - get in touch for a gift voucher.
Care plans - To support you we can also provide comprehensive care plans for your garden giving you season by season guidance on how to look after your plants. This is particularly useful if you have just moved into a house with an already established garden and you don't know where to start!
We plan to run a series of courses on various aspects of practical gardening and garden design for beginners.

You will have much more success with planting if you understand more about the soil you have and which plants will be best suited to it.
We offer a stand alone soil testing service, providing you with information about the soil structure and nutritional make-up including acidity. Soil tests start from £20*.

Soil testing
Regular all year garden care - typical jobs carried out throughout the year include weeding, grass cutting, hedge cutting, leaf clearing, flower and vegetable plot preparation (dig and no-dig), composting, designing and planting new flower beds.
Seasonal care - typically carried out in Spring and Autumn including: annual pruning, fruit tree pruning, dead heading, mulching, division of plants, propogation.
